Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using example.com ("the website"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions, you must not use the website. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use our services.

Products and Orders

All products displayed on example.com are subject to availability. We reserve the right to limit quantities, discontinue products, or modify product descriptions at any time without prior notice. Prices are displayed in Japanese Yen (JPY) and are subject to change.

By placing an order, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age and that the information you provide is accurate and complete. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for any reason, including suspected fraud or errors in product or pricing information.

Artisanal Products

Many products sold on example.com are handcrafted by individual artisans. Due to the nature of handmade ceramics and small-batch teas, variations in color, pattern, shape, and flavor are inherent and expected. These variations are not defects but are part of the unique character of each piece. Product photographs are representative but may not exactly match the item you receive.

Payment

We accept major credit cards, bank transfers, and other payment methods as displayed at checkout. All payments are processed securely through our third-party payment processors. You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate billing information for all purchases.

Shipping and Delivery

We ship internationally from our location in Kyoto, Japan. Shipping costs and estimated delivery times are calculated at checkout based on your location. Delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed. example.com is not responsible for delays caused by customs processing, weather events, or carrier issues.

Risk of loss and title for items pass to you upon delivery to the carrier. You are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, or fees imposed by your country.

Returns and Refunds

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you are not satisfied, you may return eligible items within 14 days of delivery, provided they are in their original condition and packaging. Please contact us at support@example.com to initiate a return.

Due to the perishable nature of tea products, opened or consumed tea items cannot be returned. Custom-ordered ceramics and personalized gift sets are non-refundable. Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 10 business days of receiving the returned item.

Tea Ceremony Bookings

Tea ceremony bookings are subject to availability and require advance reservation. Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the scheduled ceremony will receive a full refund. Cancellations within 48 hours are subject to a 50% cancellation fee. No-shows will be charged the full booking amount.

Intellectual Property

All content on example.com, including text, images, product descriptions, graphics, logos, and design elements, is the property of example.com or our content suppliers and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content without our express written permission.

User Conduct

When using our website, you agree not to:

• Use the website for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
• Interfere with or disrupt the website's functionality or security
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the website
• Use automated means to access or collect data from the website
• Submit false or misleading information

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kyoto, Japan.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the website. Your continued use of the website after any changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
